About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head and Sous Chef in a busy kitchen delivering consistently high-quality food
  • Handle purchase orders and ensure unauthorized items are not received
  • Manage daily food preparation and duties assigned by superiors
  • Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef
  • Supervise junior chefs and interns
  • Ensure production, preparation, and presentation of food meet the highest quality standards
  • Maintain highest levels of guest satisfaction and manage food costs
  • Follow standard procedures for food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation
  • Adhere to preservation standards and proper temperature handling
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and correct use of equipment and utensils
  • Consult daily with Sous Chef and Executive Chef on requirements and events
  • Collect daily feedback and report issues as they arise

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in the same role
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of food preparation, storage, and sanitation procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Michelin star experience
