About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and production of high-quality pastry items, desserts, and plated sweets
  • Support the Pastry Chef in daily pastry operations, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
  • Prepare and maintain mise en place efficiently to ensure smooth and timely service
  • Follow established recipes and presentation standards
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in line with HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and assist in monitoring inventory levels within the pastry section
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen and service teams for restaurants, banquets, and events
  • Handle guest dietary requirements and special dessert requests with care

Requirements

  • Technical skills in pastry production
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced culinary environment
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
