About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the culinary team and chef trainees to deliver exceptional food
- Guarantee food quality and presentation across dine-in, pick-up, and delivery channels
- Manage receipt and quality control of fresh ingredients from farm partners
- Oversee inventory, supplies, and food ordering in collaboration with the Chef Operator
- Organize prep lists, deployment boards, and prep schedules for efficient service
- Uphold stringent kitchen operations, including storage, labeling, and safety protocols
- Manage kitchen facilities and collaborate on labor and food costs
- Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years leading a culinary team in a high-volume setting
- Strong culinary expertise and passion for quality food
- Ability to perform physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven reliability and attention to detail
