Chef de Cuisine

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a kitchen culture that embodies best practices and standards
• Lead and mentor chef trainees through culinary expertise and positivity
• Guarantee food quality and presentation for dine-in, pick-up, and delivery
• Act as the primary resource for recipe inquiries and food quality
• Manage receipt and quality control of fresh ingredients from farm partners
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and quality assurance processes
• Organize prep lists and collaborate with the Chef Operator on ordering
• Manage deployment boards and prep schedules to ensure service readiness
• Perform line checks and manage potential waste
• Uphold stringent storage, labeling, and safety protocols
• Collaborate on labor and food cost management
• Lead recruitment, training, and performance management for the kitchen team

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years leading a culinary team in a high-volume setting
• Strong culinary expertise and passion for quality food
• Ability to perform physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven reliability and attention to detail
• Vision for mentoring and developing future restaurant leaders
