Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the culinary team and chef trainees to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, staffing, and menu planning
- Oversee inventory, supplies, and quality control of fresh ingredients from farm partners
- Organize prep lists and collaborate with the Chef Operator on food ordering and costs
- Maintain stringent kitchen operations, including storage, labeling, and safety protocols
- Manage kitchen deployment boards, prep schedules, and line checks to ensure seamless service
- Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a culinary team in a high-volume setting
- Strong culinary expertise and passion for quality food
- Ability to perform physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
