Chef de Chantier Voie Ferrée

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction of railway tracks on specific line sections, including tunnels, viaducts, or GAD.
• Supervise and coordinate multiple teams, including up to 8 team leaders and a total of 70 personnel.
• Ensure strict compliance with site Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS) regulations and protocols.
• Define execution methods and determine resource needs for supplies, tools, machinery, and human resources in collaboration with the Works Manager.
• Oversee the assignment of tasks and ensure the smooth logistical and material flow of the site.
• Monitor the construction schedule and ensure all work aligns with installation plans and quality standards.
• Perform internal quality controls and draft regular site progress reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Railway Site Manager (Chef de Chantier Voie Ferrée).
• At least 5 years of experience specifically in concrete track laying (pose de voie béton).
• Strong knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations and the ability to enforce them strictly.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams of up to 70 people.
• Key personal attributes: calm, rigorous, punctual, and a strong team player.
