About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Set up and stock workstations with ingredients and supplies
- Ensure meals are prepared and presented consistently with a focus on quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Assist with inventory management, food ordering, and proper storage procedures
- Support and mentor team members while fostering a collaborative environment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef, Sous Chef, Executive Chef, or Kitchen Manager
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
