Cheese Maker

Responsibilities

• Operate cheese packing equipment and machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures and recipes
• Monitor automated processes and track data to ensure high-quality product output
• Perform manual handling of cheese (up to 20kg) and boxing tasks to maintain production flow
• Undertake process monitoring and maintain accurate records to ensure line efficiencies
• Carry out hygiene and housekeeping requirements in accordance with food safety standards
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve working methods and assist during equipment downtime

Requirements

• Experience in a food-related position, such as food production or professional cooking
• Basic IT skills, including the ability to operate a PC/HMI with keyboard skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is an advantage
• Strong awareness of food hygiene and health and safety procedures
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
