Chauffeur et Livreur (Classe 3)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe transport and delivery of gas cylinders to customers
• Load and unload cylinders, verifying and recording quantities and product types against shipping documents
• Apply appropriate vehicle signage in compliance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TMD) regulations
• Follow all operating and safety procedures during assigned tasks
• Complete shipping documents, trip reports, fuel receipts, and other required documentation
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance needs to the supervisor

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of driving experience (AZ, DZ, Class 1, or Class 3)
• Valid provincial driver's license with an air brake endorsement and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and handle cylinders of various sizes and weights
• Knowledge of compressed gases and safe handling procedures
• Completed training in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TMD) and WHMIS (SIMDUT)
• Strong mechanical aptitude
