Chauffeur Classe 1

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 utility vehicle to transport metal and/or construction materials
• Perform local transport trips primarily in the Quebec area within a 160km radius
• Safely drive 4-axle trucks
• Use various trailer types including dumpers, walking floors, bitrains, boilers, and roll-offs
• Securely load and unload materials using appropriate equipment
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain delivery logs and required documentation
• Provide high-quality customer service

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver's license with FM endorsement
• Clean driving record
• Experience driving manual transmissions
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class 1 driver
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and safety-oriented
• Punctual, reliable, and respectful of equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dump trucks or Roll Offs
