Chassis Tuning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform technical activities related to evaluation, development, and tuning of chassis systems (ride, handling, traction, braking, and safety)
• Set performance targets with vehicle or subsystem manufacturers
• Conduct vehicle testing on open roads or proving grounds
• Tune passive and active chassis systems to reach desired performance levels
• Manage technical programs
• Support the Chassis testing product manager with technical proposals and quotations

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics Engineering
• Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics and automotive technology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chassis tuning
• Excellent knowledge of chassis subjective evaluation criteria and tuning methodology
• Excellent driving skills and vehicle motion feedback
• Willingness to perform tests in proving grounds and travel globally
• Good communication and technical justification skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Driving Simulators
• English language proficiency
