Chassis Controls Safety Designer

Responsibilities

• Define technical safety concepts at the control/software level
• Analyze control/SW architecture and provide safety requirements to the development team
• Execute software safety analysis (SW FMEA, FTA, DFA) to ensure concept integrity
• Provide detailed software safety requirements allocated to each component
• Define vehicle-level test cases to validate safety mechanisms
• Evaluate software safety versions based on STLA release processes
• Support development and troubleshooting, including fault injection and HIL testing
• Support the definition and improvement of internal processes for ISO 26262 compliance
• Interface with ECU suppliers to ensure correct integration of safety concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
• Solid knowledge of functional safety processes in the automotive industry (ISO 26262 part 6)
• Proficiency in ANSYS MEDINI Analyze or equivalent safety tools
• Knowledge of requirements management, system processes, standards, and testing
• Advanced English proficiency for managing international documentation and meetings
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition systems
• Valid driver's license (Category B) and availability for short business trips

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with electronic vehicle architecture
• Knowledge of CAN network tools (Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.)
• Experience with ADAS technologies
• Understanding of vehicle dynamics
• Programming experience in C, C++, Matlab, or Python
