Chartered Accountant - GST Compliance & Litigation Support

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns
• Prepare and submit refund applications for exports, inverted duty structures, and other eligible claims
• Draft professional replies to GST notices, Show Cause Notices (SCN), and DRC communications
• Perform detailed GST reconciliations, including 2A/2B and ledger matching
• Maintain audit-ready working papers and documentation
• Coordinate with clients for data collection and compliance requirements
• Support senior team members with GST research, advisory, and litigation preparation
• Collaborate with the product team to improve AI-enabled compliance workflows

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
• Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE) specifically in GST
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, return filing, and refund procedures
• Practical experience in drafting legal responses to GST notices
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software
• Strong written communication and legal drafting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in CA firms or boutique GST advisory setups
• Exposure to GST audits or tribunal/litigation matters
• Experience working with automation or compliance technology tools
