Charge Registered Nurse – RN

Responsibilities

• Function as the hemodialysis team leader, providing day-to-day direction and supervision to direct patient care staff.
• Ensure the safe and effective delivery of chronic hemodialysis treatments in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
• Assess daily patient care needs, develop assignments, and assume primary responsibility during emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret and adjust patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications per physician orders, and educate patients and families regarding End Stage Renal Disease and dialysis therapy.
• Supervise the safe use of all medical equipment and oversee the accuracy of patient documentation.
• Support the Clinical Manager with staff training, orientation, and monthly staff meetings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.).
• Current and appropriate state nursing licensure.
• Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience.
• Minimum of 3 months of clinical dialysis experience.
• Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a clinical setting.
