Charge Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Function as the hemodialysis team leader, providing day-to-day direction and supervision to patient care staff
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of chronic hemodialysis care in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations
• Assess daily patient care needs, develop assignments, and assume primary responsibility in emergency situations
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret and adjust patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and supervise all patient care activity during dialysis
• Train and orient staff, providing both informal and formal feedback on performance
• Supervise the safe and effective use of all dialysis-related and emergency equipment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
• Current and appropriate state nursing licensure
• Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience
• Minimum of 3 months of clinical dialysis experience
• Successful completion of a hemodialysis training course
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a clinical setting
