Chargé de Recouvrement

Responsibilities

• Manage amicable debt recovery for client accounts while preserving customer relationships and company image
• Conduct financial investigations to define and validate client credit limits
• Handle the opening of new client accounts
• Perform daily follow-ups via telephone to encourage prompt payment of overdue debts
• Negotiate amicable recovery solutions, such as deferred or installment payment plans
• Identify and escalate disputes to relevant operational teams for resolution
• Manage potential disputes in coordination with internal departments
• Lead risk committees with operational stakeholders
• Prepare and monitor litigation files

Requirements

• Minimum BAC+2 degree in accounting, management, or customer relations
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar debt recovery role
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable accounting entries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
• Excellent oral communication and telephone etiquette
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple files simultaneously
• High level of perseverance and stress resistance

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP software
