About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive and execute continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Kaizen, etc.)
- Identify operational bottlenecks and propose solutions to optimize safety, quality, service, and costs
- Conduct site diagnostics to prioritize improvement opportunities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Collect, analyze, and track key performance indicators (e.g., OEE, yield, costs) to guide decision-making
- Facilitate workshops and root cause analysis sessions to solve complex operational issues
- Implement and support visual management tools and performance tracking systems
- Act as a change agent by coaching and training teams on Lean tools and best practices
- Perform Gemba walks to identify opportunities for improvement in safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 3 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and continuous improvement
- Strong proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement tools
- Proven experience in continuous improvement project management
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret performance data
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken) is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt is an asset)
- Experience in a regulated FMCG or CPG manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of performance systems such as OEE or Power BI
- Experience facilitating Lean workshops (5S, SMED, etc.)
- Experience in operational transformation and change management
