Character Artist

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, model, and texture high-quality characters for published titles
• Create clean geometry with solid topology and efficient UV mapping
• Utilize a wide range of artistic skills to tell stories through character design
• Collaborate with the Character Art team to deliver beautifully crafted assets

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Character Artist with at least one published game
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in form, shape, composition, and anatomy
• Proficiency in Maya, Zbrush, and Photoshop
• Deep understanding of solid topology, UV mapping, and texturing fundamentals
• Experience with facial blendshapes and wrinkle maps
• Experience with hair authoring (both full strand-based and hair cards)
• Ability to provide examples of hard surface work

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or 5
• Experience using Marvelous Designer
• Experience with scan development pipelines
