Channels Planner Assistant

Responsibilities

• Manage programming schedules for four SportyTV channels across Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya
• Support the creation and maintenance of daily and weekly sports schedules based on content and acquisitions
• Coordinate and deliver content materials, such as highlights and competition assets, to internal and external partners
• Track and organize upcoming sports events and competitions
• Assist in preparing audience reports for distribution to competitions
• Support general administrative tasks within the media content team
• Coordinate with the Social Media team for live broadcasts streamed through social media accounts

Requirements

• C1 level proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong interest in football and general sports content
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, live media environments
• Proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or academic experience in media, sports, or content-related fields
• Interest in TV programming, scheduling, or live broadcasting
• Familiarity with sports calendars and major global competitions
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, Photoshop)
