About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business with end customers to be fulfilled via the partner channel
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue and project quotas for Avigilon products and services
  • Promote and market video solutions and analytics within the assigned Florida territory
  • Create, nurture, and manage a healthy sales funnel through daily prospecting
  • Conduct sales calls, schedule local promotional work, and track activities in CRM
  • Work with vertical marketing teams to identify engagement opportunities at conferences and tradeshows
  • Act as a "Trusted Advisor" to both customers and Channel Partners to drive business development
  • Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasting

Requirements

  • 4+ years of technical solutions sales experience
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to demonstrate complex software and solutions
  • Experience working with channel strategies and initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Apps, particularly Excel and Sheets
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time within the territory
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in physical security solutions
  • Established client base within the assigned Florida territory
