About the role

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop, and manage strategic retail solution partners to drive growth in the Retail Solutions segment.
  • Achieve revenue targets by selling HP Retail Solutions (POS, Digital Signage, Store Mobility, and Kiosk) to strategic partners.
  • Develop and execute tactical and strategic sales plans for the assigned US region.
  • Create and manage the sales funnel, providing accurate forecasting and reporting to management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in retail solutions, providing guidance on process improvements and competitive positioning.
  • Build and maintain professional, consultative relationships with partner executives and end customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional sales teams to optimize territory coverage and maximize share of wallet.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of advanced sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • 3-5 years of experience specifically developing and selling to channel partners in the retail segment.
  • Deep expertise in Retail Solutions, including POS, Digital Signage, and Kiosk products.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage complex sales environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling high-value software and services as part of strategic product sales.
  • Advanced knowledge of partner economics and the IT industry landscape.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools (such as Siebel) for accurate business forecasting.
