About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive brand presence, share, and velocity in accounts using strategic engagement activities
- Plan, track, and implement brand and portfolio engagement using performance data
- Maintain all legal and marketing code guidelines
- Identify merchandising opportunities and manage point of sale assets
- Serve as a key liaison between the portfolio, distributor, manager, and customers
- Manage budgets, expenses, and agency reporting responsibilities
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the bev-alc industry
- Knowledge of liquor laws, regulations, and rules
- Strong persuasive selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Access to reliable transportation for account travel
- Ability to lift and move cases of product weighing 50 pounds or more
- Must be based within a 30-minute commuting distance of the designated market
Preferred Qualifications
- Distributor or broker experience
- Bar, restaurant, or hotel operator experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Existing network of industry professionals in the market
