About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for SoftBank C&S and a portfolio of resellers in Japan
- Prospect and onboard new reseller partners to expand product reach
- Implement partner enablement strategies including training, tools, and support
- Create and execute business plans with distributors and resellers to drive joint success
- Track reseller performance metrics and KPIs to identify improvement areas
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance and identify new opportunities
- Develop sales forecasts and revenue targets for the channel
- Manage channel incentives and rewards programs to motivate resellers
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on co-branded campaigns and lead-generation programs
Requirements
- Extensive channel management experience in the Japanese market
- Proven track record of driving growth with resellers and/or distributors
- Experience working with Japan’s largest software resellers and an existing contact network
- Experience working within a Distribution channel model
- Business-grade Japanese and English communication skills (speaking and writing)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce
