CH-47 Sustainment Chief Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and product integrity for the sustainment and support of all aircraft platforms within the CH-47 portfolio
• Coordinate with BDS and BGS counterparts for seamless execution of program deliverables and fleet support
• Manage program technical performance metrics, driving first-time quality, engineering health, and on-time delivery
• Manage program engineering staffing requirements and technical risks/issues
• Lead productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives in collaboration with engineering capabilities
• Support the development of technology investment plans and digital solutions roadmaps

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in development programs, production support, or sustainment engineering
• 3+ years of experience in a managerial role
• Experience in Integrated Product Support (e.g., Product Support Management, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning, or Sustaining Engineering)
• Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes
• Experience leading safety or quality teams and activities (e.g., SAGs, SRM, or Safety Assurance)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• 5+ years or greater in a managerial role
• Experience interfacing directly with the United States Army, Systems Readiness Directorate, and international customers
• Active current U.S. Security Clearance
• Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) in Earned Value Management (EVM)
