CFS Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of vehicles including 3- and 5-ton commercial trucks, cube vans, and panel vans in compliance with regulations
• Perform and document daily vehicle circle checks and monitor vehicle condition, fuel, and fluid levels
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) log
• Load and secure cargo safely using equipment such as forklifts or hand carts
• Deliver goods from the Distribution Centre and collect donated materials from various locations
• Accurately count and document delivered items and submit required paperwork promptly
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and interact courteously with the public and ministry units

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Valid full driver’s license for the province
• Clean driving abstract
• Minimum of 1 year of safe driving experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and walking
• Strong navigation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Current forklift operator's certificate
