CFO

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior officer of Prism Media, leading Finance, Legal, and HR functions
• Build and lead a high-performing shared services team
• Establish organizational processes, norms, and infrastructure from the ground up
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and monthly close processes across portfolio companies
• Establish consistent financial reporting, including P&Ls, cash flow, and key metrics
• Build and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes (FP&A) with portfolio leadership
• Establish and maintain financial controls and documentation in a multi-entity environment
• Manage audit, tax, and external accounting providers
• Implement tools and systems, including automation, to improve financial workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, controllership, or operating finance roles
• Strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting (close processes, consolidations, multi-entity structures)
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting (FP&A)
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Proficiency with standard financial tools like Excel
• Comfort working directly with operating teams
