CFD Engineer - Process

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine CFD methodologies to improve predictive accuracy and correlation
• Work with Aerodynamicists to ensure modeling approaches meet development needs
• Investigate and validate new numerical methods, turbulence models, and workflow improvements
• Contribute to external aero, internal flow, and thermal modeling domains
• Collaborate with Process and Software Engineers to ensure methodologies are robust and production-ready
• Communicate results clearly to stakeholders
• Support ongoing technical development and knowledge growth within the CFD group

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Software Engineering with Aerodynamics/CFD focus
• 2+ years’ experience in a relevant motorsport CFD role
• Strong programming skills with Python, JavaScript or C++
• Experience with commercial/open-source CFD solvers
• Experience developing automated workflows or optimisation pipelines
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills
