Certifying Aircraft Technician (In-Flight Entertainment)

Responsibilities

• Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks for In-Flight Entertainment systems in accordance with technical data and quality notices
• Identify and rectify defects promptly to ensure safety of flight operations and operational readiness
• Prepare all necessary materials, tooling, and equipment in advance to ensure on-time performance
• Consult with Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAE) to maintain a complete overview of aircraft status
• Maintain a FOD-free working area and ensure cleanliness of the bay before and after tasks
• Proactively participate in Health and Safety matters and promote a strong reporting culture
• Manage tools and equipment by ensuring they are cleaned, returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective
• Ensure all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with correct labeling

Requirements

• Valid aircraft maintenance license (ICAOII, EASA66 + GCAA)
• Formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Line or Base Maintenance environment
