About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads
- Conduct inspections and tests of structures and welds
- Identify components with cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, or other defects affecting structural integrity
Requirements
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- At least three years of experience in welding inspection
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints
- Proficiency with MS Office software and report production
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) or Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE)
- Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI)
- Background in construction, civil engineering, defense, marine, or aerospace industries
