About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate Quality Assurance Inspection activities on the manufacturing floor
- Manage the quarantine and disposition of nonconforming goods
- Assign employees and maintain directed shift staffing levels to maximize quality control goals
- Perform process and sub-factory audits to ensure procedures are followed
- Research data and implement corrective actions
- Provide immediate supervision, guidance, and training to inspectors
- Review quality reports and confer with management to define quality goals
- Act as a liaison between customers, vendors, and functional peer groups regarding quality issues
Requirements
- 3 years of related experience in quality assurance or welding inspection
- Expertise in Quality Assurance Inspection and process auditing
- Experience in staff supervision and directing daily shift activities
- Ability to develop and implement quality assurance inspection procedures
