Certified Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, and administration of medications
• Collect and analyze laboratory samples including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens
• Manage nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability
• Assist with surgical preparation, anesthesia administration, and surgical monitoring
• Execute diagnostic imaging, including radiographic positioning and image capture
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate treatment plans effectively with clients

Requirements

• Active Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license
• Proficiency in diagnostic imaging and radiographic positioning
• Experience in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring
• Expertise in safe and low-stress animal restraint techniques
• Strong medical record management and client communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and availability for some Saturday morning shifts
