Certified Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance in the Operating Room under RN guidance
• Prepare the room with nursing staff for surgical procedures
• Practice principles of asepsis and maintain a sterile field
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize equipment in the OR and Endoscopic Lab
• Assist physicians during surgical procedures and organize instrumentation
• Handle surgical specimens and follow verbal physician orders
• Monitor surgical equipment maintenance and repairs
• Prepare room and equipment for Endoscopy procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current CST Certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of perioperative services experience
