Certified Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities

• Arrange surgical instruments and supplies for maximum efficiency and precision
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and assist during various surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and strictly follow aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
• Set up, evaluate, and maintain surgical equipment and instrumentation
• Participate in surgical counts and assist in the handling of surgical specimens
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to provide patient-centered care
• Assist with patient transfer and post-operative care with professionalism and compassion

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist or relevant certification
• AHA BLS Certification (or must be obtained within 2 months of hire)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc.
• Experience in specialized areas such as Robotics, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, or Cardiovascular surgery
