Certified Structural Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect, evaluate, repair, modify, and weld metal and composite aircraft parts to airworthiness standards
• Order necessary parts and follow up with Technical Purchasing
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians to ensure aircraft systems remain operational
• Complete all required paperwork in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), MCM, and MPM
• Certify completed work through maintenance release signatures

Requirements

• College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent structure assembly
• At least two years of experience in structural repair
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) "S" license
• Ability to perform detailed manual work with high dexterity
• Ability to read plans and blueprints
• Strong communication skills

• Certified welder
