Certified Rehabilitation Counselor

Responsibilities

• Review Functional Capacity Outcomes (FCOs) and supporting documentation to prepare for client assessments
• Conduct vocational assessments and reassessments in alignment with Person First standards and HRA guidelines
• Develop Individual Vocational Assessment Plans (IVAPs) by identifying barriers and actionable next steps
• Discuss clients’ short- and long-term employment goals using vocational and industry-specific assessment tools
• Provide clients with resources, guidance, and referrals to appropriate team members
• Collaborate with VRS staff regarding employment opportunities and training programs
• Maintain detailed client records and support high-volume client flow

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts, or related field
• At least two years of experience working with individuals with diverse physical or behavioral health needs
• Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credential
• Experience managing high-volume caseloads in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with electronic systems and case management platforms
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and workforce development practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with publicly funded programs, specifically TANF
• Bilingual or multilingual ability
• Familiarity with online vocational, interest, and aptitude assessments
