Certified Rehabilitation Counselor

Responsibilities

• Conduct vocational assessments and reassessments in alignment with Person First standards and HRA guidelines
• Develop Individual Vocational Assessment Plans (IVAPs) by identifying barriers and outlining actionable next steps
• Review Functional Capacity Outcomes (FCOs) and supporting documentation to prepare for client assessments
• Discuss short- and long-term employment goals using appropriate vocational and industry-specific assessment tools
• Provide clients with resources, guidance, and referrals to appropriate team members
• Maintain detailed client records and ensure timely documentation within a high-volume, performance-driven environment
• Collaborate with VRS staff to stay current on employment opportunities and training programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts, or a related field
• Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credential
• At least two years of experience working with individuals with diverse physical or behavioral health needs
• Experience managing high-volume caseloads in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with electronic systems and case management platforms
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with publicly funded programs, such as TANF
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities
• Familiarity with online vocational, interest, and aptitude assessments
