Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and apply multi-layer compression bandaging
• Implement individualized treatment plans for patients with lymphedema and lipedema
• Provide patient education on lymphedema management and compression therapy
• Assist with compression garment fitting and pneumatic compression device training
• Monitor patient progress and document treatments in the EMR
• Travel between clinic locations throughout Southeast Michigan as needed
• Support clinic operations and patient flow

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Michigan COTA licensure
• Commitment to completing CLT certification training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) certification
• Experience with Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
• Experience with lymphedema, lipedema, or wound care
• Familiarity with EMR documentation platforms
