Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing treatment to an assigned caseload within a school-based setting
• Communicate and collaborate closely with supervising Occupational Therapists
• Document, monitor, and analyze patient progress and the effects of treatment
• Educate and provide family training regarding individualized treatment plans
• Attend IEP and ETR meetings to report evaluation findings and recommendations
• Maintain documentation of therapy minutes and adhere to reporting deadlines
• Complete necessary Medicaid billing in accordance with school procedures

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
• Current license to practice as an OTA in the State of Ohio
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass FBI and BCI background checks
• Professional liability insurance
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
