About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing treatment to an assigned caseload within a school-based setting
- Communicate and collaborate closely with supervising Occupational Therapists
- Document, monitor, and analyze patient progress and the effects of treatment
- Educate and provide family training regarding individualized treatment plans
- Attend IEP and ETR meetings to report evaluation findings and recommendations
- Maintain documentation of therapy minutes and adhere to reporting deadlines
- Complete necessary Medicaid billing in accordance with school procedures
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
- Current license to practice as an OTA in the State of Ohio
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass FBI and BCI background checks
- Professional liability insurance
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
