About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and follow-through of individualized treatment plans as set forth by the supervising Therapist
  • Perform patient treatments according to established therapy standards, department policies, and patient-specific needs
  • Document specific and individualized treatment programs and patient progress in the EMR according to payer guidelines and Montana practice guidelines
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop patient goals and discharge planning
  • Utilize appropriate materials, equipment, and techniques to achieve expected patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved COTA program (AOTA) or PTA program (APTA)
  • Current Montana COTA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure within 90 days of employment
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn electronic medical record software
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Therapy Assistant
