Certified Nursing Assistant/Certified Home Health Aide

Responsibilities

• Care for a census of 5-6 patients
• Provide or assist in ADL activities including personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care, and nails
• Assist with toileting, positioning, and transfer activities
• Perform frequent turning and positioning of bed-bound patients
• Assist with prescribed exercise and ROM activities
• Perform light housekeeping including changing bed linen and laundry
• Feed and assist with meals
• Report any changes in patient condition to the Nurse

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Meets State training requirements
• Minimum 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training
• One year of experience as a CNA, hospice aide, or home health aide
• Licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospice care
