Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for hospice patients under the direction of a licensed clinician
• Follow established Plans of Care and adhere to standard precautions
• Document all care provided in a timely and accurate manner
• Observe and report any changes in patient status to clinical staff
• Maintain strict patient, family, and caregiver confidentiality
• Deliver duties with a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Massachusetts CNA certification
• Experience with the end-of-life care process
• Ability to observe and communicate changes in patient status
• Successful completion of required training programs and annual in-service requirements
