Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments
• Support residents in activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and dining
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the Silverado team
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team

Requirements

• Valid CNA certificate number
• Completion of CNA training
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Comfort working around animals and pets

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions
