About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
- Assist with meal preparation and mobility
- Support individualized care plans and monitor patient well-being
- Reinforce healthy routines to promote recovery and self-sufficiency
- Work closely with patients, families, and registered nurses
Requirements
- Minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training
- Current certification as a nurse aide in good standing on the state registry
- Must meet Medicare Home Health Aide training program and competencies
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid automobile insurance
- Ability to read and write in English effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Home Health Aide, Hospice Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant
