Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in a Med/Surg setting
• Provide emotional support for patients and families
• Assess patient needs regarding skin care, bowel/bladder control, and Activities of Daily Living
• Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
• Record patient height and weight
• Measure and record fluid and food intake and output
• Answer phones and direct calls as appropriate

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) by the State of Montana
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to interpret and apply verbal and written instructions
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent
