Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding as outlined in care plans
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents
• Escort residents to meals and scheduled activities
• Ensure all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, and fed during shifts
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during your shift
• Report any changes in resident condition immediately to the supervisor

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aid (HHA) certification
• Experience working with the elderly population
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs and use proper body mechanics
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in dementia care
