Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and fluid intake/output
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders
• Recognize and report abnormal changes in body functioning to a supervisor
• Transfer, position, and turn residents to ensure comfort and skin care
• Provide emotional and social support while respecting resident rights and dignity
• Contribute to resident assessments and the development of care plans
• Follow established schedules and nursing rehabilitation services

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid CNA licensure (depending on state requirements)
• 1+ years of clinical or nursing experience
• Basic computer skills
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Experience in an assisted living or senior care environment
