Certified Nursing Assistant CNA, Home Health Aide PRN

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, hygiene, toileting, and mobility
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the patient
• Prepare and assist with meal service
• Perform light homemaking and other environmental services
• Observe, report, and document any changes in patient status or body functions
• Recognize emergency situations and implement appropriate emergency procedures
• Follow infection prevention, control, and safety protocols
• Assist patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by a nurse or therapist

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active state certification or registration as a nurse assistant
• Current CPR certification
• Recent CNA experience within the last two years
• Ability to successfully pass the care center's competency program
