Certified Nurse Midwife

Responsibilities

• Act as a key provider on the clinical team, delivering exceptional care to Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial patient cohorts
• Deliver maternal care through a patient-centric model, including in-home visits, clinic visits, and virtual appointments
• Drive ongoing improvements for the care model to optimize patient outcomes and decrease inefficiency
• Provide high-touch, proactive care to patients with complex clinical and social needs

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification from an accredited program
• Active New Mexico licensure (or ability to obtain licensure by start date)
• 3+ years of perinatal care experience (prenatal, postpartum, and/or labor & delivery)
• Ability to travel across the assigned territory in Northern New Mexico with reliable personal transportation
• Fully vaccinated with all necessary vaccinations, including a COVID-19 booster
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to conduct and interpret NSTs and limited OB ultrasound
• Willingness or ability to perform phlebotomy
• Proficiency in basic procedural skills
• Ability to speak Spanish
