Certified Nurse Midwife

Responsibilities

• Manage full-scope midwifery care in an outpatient clinic, including obstetric and gynecological services
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, health coaches, lactation counselors, and other specialists
• Provide in-house clinical coverage and leadership on Labor & Delivery
• Triage emergent obstetric patients alongside RNs and OB/GYNs
• Provide first assist surgical support
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and skills training for high acuity events

Requirements

• Experience managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting (2 years preferred)
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative OB/CNM practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient preferences, shared decision making, and holistic care
• NRP and BLS certification by start date
• Active AMCB certification
• Current RN and APRN license in Texas

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and/or Lactation consultation
