Responsibilities

• Independently manage and provide full-scope midwifery care in an outpatient clinic, including comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues including OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, and health coaches
• Provide day-to-day expertise and leadership on Labor & Delivery, including in-house clinical coverage
• Triage and care for emergent obstetric patients
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and attend skills training for high acuity events

Requirements

• Active certification with AMCB
• Current RN and APRN license in TN
• Experience managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient preferences, shared decision making, and holistic care

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of hospital setting experience preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, or Lactation consultation
